GRAND CHALLENGES IN STELLAR PHYSICS : PULSATING STARS IN THE UNIVERSE

From 01 April 2019 To 05 April 2019
VENUE TO BE CONFIRMED
grand-challenges-in-stellar-physics-pulsating-stars-in-the-universe

Description:

The symposium "Grand Challenges in Stellar Physics : Pulsating Stars in the Universe" will be held in Nice, French Riviera. It will be the 23rd in the sequence of Los Alamos stellar pulsation conferences held biennially since 1971 in Los Alamos, United States. The symposium will be a timely opportunity to highlight recent exciting advances and to allow the astronomers to share their experiences towards learning about the stellar pulsation and evolution theory and discuss strategies to cope with the overwhelming amount of data being generated. We envisage a symposium where the leaders of ground- and space-based variability surveys and the experts of the pulsation and evolution theory will be invited to highlight the impact of their work on the field of pulsating star research towards understanding our Universe.
