7th edition of the Euclid consortium's French community symposium
The space mission Euclid is a satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA) to be launched in 2022. This cosmology mission aims to understand the source of the acceleration of the expansion of the universe and the nature of the black energy and gravitation by observing billions of galaxies, tracing the history of the universe over more than 10 billion years. This is a major mission of ESA's "Cosmic Vision" program, which brings together around 1,400 researchers, engineers and technicians involved in all European countries, with participation from the USA and Canada.
