The gallery Espace à vendre started out in 2004 in an 18m2 space on rue Assalit and in 2006 moved to a 100m2 space near the MAMAC.
In 2008, Bertrand Baraudou, its director, opened a second space in the Marais district of Paris in order to offer unprecedented visibility to the emerging artists he defends.
In April 2011, l'Espace à vendre took up residence just a stone's throw from the Gare de Nice, participating in the renewal of the Libération district and of Nice's plastic art scene.
Today the gallery on rue Assalit has a unique location with 4 spaces: an exhibition room with a street frontage, a showroom, an adjoining courtyard creating a link with a new space of 130m2 for a total area of 250 m2.
