The city’s original site, the Castle was completely destroyed by French King Louis XIV’s troops in 1706. Today, it is a pleasure to stroll through this maze of paths, particularly in summer, with the cool, quiet shaded areas and surprising waterfall in a 193,000m2 park is remarkable for its spontaneous vegetation.
