Standing in the artificial lake in Parc Phoenix, in a building of white marble and glass designed by the Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, the Departmental Asian Arts Museum evokes the spirit of the main civilizations of Asia, India, Southeast Asia, China and Japan through both classical and contemporary works. Temporary exhibitions, as well as performances and other activities, like the famous ‘tea ceremony’ illustrate the Museum’s creativity.
The Museum of Asian Arts in Nice opens its spaces for work meetings, breakfasts, conferences or evenings. In this sublime and exceptional setting, on the artificial lake of the Phoenix Floral Park, your small and medium sized events will be magnified. The museum space allows you to receive your meals, buffets or cocktails for up to 250 people in a pure and refined Zen atmosphere. The tea pavilion is also ideal and original for your breakfasts and your meetings or conferences. The museum also offers its spaces for photo shoots or film shoots on Tuesdays (when the museum is closed). Guided tours can be offered with the rental of the museum space, and paying activities can also be organized to energize your evenings Ikebana (Japanese floral art), Origami (art of Japanese paper folding), Shodo (Japanese calligraphy), Shufa (Chinese calligraphy), Chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony), etc.
