Nice, First French Regional Airport with a Direct Link to China

New Direct Beijing-Nice Service by Air China

Since 2 August, Nice and its Metropole has a direct link to China, thanks to the opening of a seasonal link between Beijing and Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. This line is provided by the AIR CHINA companies on a 227-seat A330, with 28 business class seats, at a rate of 3 flights a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). It will operate until 26 October 2019 and will resume in March 2020.

This new inter-continental connection with China, the first in France outside Paris, will complement direct links with New York, Montreal, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait and more than 100 other destinations in the world. The Côte d'Azur is thus the only destination in France outside Paris, with as many direct flights to the great international capitals.

The opening of this line is the fruit of long-term promotional work with professionals and influencers in French tourism in China, started in the early 1990s by the Regional Tourism Committee Côte d'Azur France and the big cities of the Côte d'Azur (Nice, Antibes and Cannes) and Atout France. It represents a major asset for capturing this potential clientele of 1.4 billion people, including 3.5 million millionaires: a market which today represents more than 115,000 stays on the Côte d'Azur.
