We have tested the boot camp ”snow version” at Auron.
The idea was born four years ago, for individuals summer customers, while the "snow version" that we tested is specific to groups of 10 to 20 people.
Our adventure began in the afternoon and on the advice of our trainers Emile and Richard (alpine guides with state diplomas) we formed two teams of five people to participate to the challenge (My recommendation is to do this activity rather in the morning to be able to enjoy the sun during the workshops and also before the lunch break !!)
In theory it’s easy: the teams must challenge each other on a circuit with various fun, athletic and strategic workshops (orienteering race, rope-bound snow races, obstacle course, searching an avalanche victim with a detector , etc…) with a specific path to follow, with obstacles and workshops with real scenarios and so recovering a scoring points. Fun, team spirit and challenges are the keywords of this activity!
After being equipped with our combat outfits (make-up, flag and scarf), we started our challenge which lasted two hours (normally the activity last three hours with the "airboard sledge" challenge but due to lack of time for us the organizers have modified the challenges according to our needs)
It is an athletic activity (good physical condition required) but fun (laughter guaranteed !!!), which I highly recommend (I'm already planning to do it again with my friends for my birthday!).
Winter: 45 € / pers (group consisting of 10 people minimum)
Participants must take: gloves, hat, shoes for walking in the snow, warm clothing suitable for the mountains, backpack with water and energy bars…
